We Quit Our Jobs to Manifest Our Dreams in 2016!

So what happens when you stop waiting for permission to live the life you actually want?

Okay, grab your coffee because this is one of those conversations that feels less like reading a blog post and more like sitting across the table from your best friend at your favorite little coffee shop.

You know the kind of conversation.

The phones are face down.

The coffee is getting cold.

And somehow, three hours later, you’re still talking about life, dreams, consciousness, money, relationships, fear, purpose… and that one crazy idea you’ve secretly been thinking about for the last five years.

That’s the energy behind our latest episode of Coffee, Consciousness & Conversations

And this one is personal.

Back in 2016, we made a decision that looked completely irrational from the outside:

We quit our jobs.

Not because we had everything figured out.

Not because we had some magical 10-year plan.

And definitely not because we had a giant pile of money sitting in the bank.

We simply knew something inside us was saying:

“There’s more.”

And eventually, we realized something important:

Sometimes the biggest risk isn’t leaving the life you’ve built.

It’s staying in a life you already know you’re not meant to live.

The Moment You Know

Have you ever had that feeling?

You’re doing everything you’re “supposed” to do.

You’re working.

You’re paying the bills.

You’re being responsible.

You’re checking all the boxes.

And yet… Something inside you keeps whispering:

“Is this really it?”

It’s a strange feeling because nothing may actually be wrong.

Your life might look perfectly fine from the outside.

But inside?

There’s a little voice saying:

“I think we’re ready for something different.”

We know that voice.

And eventually, we decided to listen.

That’s where our journey into entrepreneurship, wellness, spirituality, manifestation and conscious living really began to take shape.

And here’s the part people don’t always tell you about following your dreams:

The dream doesn’t come with a guarantee.

You have to become the person who can hold the dream before you have evidence that it’s working.

That’s the uncomfortable part.

And also… the magical part.

Manifestation Isn’t Pretending

This is one of the biggest things we wanted to talk about in this episode.

Because manifestation has become a little… interesting.

You can find thousands of videos telling you to visualize a Lamborghini, say affirmations in the mirror and pretend you’re already a millionaire.

And hey… Have fun with it.

But that’s not the whole story.

Because you can’t really fake alignment.

You can say:

“I am abundant!”

while simultaneously thinking:

“Oh my God, I’m terrified about money.”

😂

We’ve been there.

The words can say one thing.

Your nervous system can say another.

Your behavior can say something completely different.

And eventually, reality starts showing you what’s actually going on underneath the surface.

That’s why real manifestation isn’t about pretending.

It’s about becoming congruent with the reality you’re choosing.

Your thoughts.

Your emotions.

Your beliefs.

Your decisions.

Your habits.

Your actions.

Your identity.

They start moving in the same direction. That’s when things get REALLY interesting.

You Don’t Have to Know the Whole Path

One of the biggest lessons we’ve learned since making that leap is this:

You don’t need to know how everything is going to work out.

You just need to know what feels true now.

That’s it.

Not ten years from now.

Not the entire business plan.

Not every client you’re going to work with.

Not every city you’re going to live in.

Not every dollar you’re going to make.

Just…

What’s the next honest step?

Sometimes that step is quitting.

Sometimes it’s starting.

Sometimes it’s resting.

Sometimes it’s saying no.

Sometimes it’s finally saying yes.

And sometimes it’s sitting quietly with yourself long enough to realize that the dream you’ve been chasing isn’t even your dream.

It’s somebody else’s.

Your parents’.

Society’s.

Your friend’s.

Instagram’s.

The version of you who thought success meant having a certain job, house, car or bank account.

And then one day you wake up and realize:

“Wait a minute… what do I actually want?”

That’s a powerful question.

The Best Part? You Get to Change Your Mind

Here’s another thing we don’t talk about enough:

Following your authentic path doesn’t mean you have to commit to one identity forever.

You are allowed to evolve.

You are allowed to change your mind.

You are allowed to outgrow your business.

You are allowed to discover a new passion.

You are allowed to say:

“That used to be my dream. This is my dream now.”

That’s not failure.

That’s consciousness.

That’s life.

We’re not here to perfectly execute some predetermined blueprint.

We’re here to experience.

To explore.

To create.

To remember who we are underneath all the conditioning.

And maybe most importantly… to have some damn fun while we’re doing it.

So Let’s Talk About Your Dream

Imagine we’re sitting together right now.

You have your coffee.

We have ours.

And I ask you:

“If you knew you couldn’t fail, what would you do?”

Don’t overthink it.

Seriously.

Don’t give me the responsible answer.

Don’t give me the answer that sounds impressive.

Don’t tell me what you should want.

What’s the thing that immediately pops into your mind?

Maybe it’s starting the business.

Writing the book.

Moving somewhere new.

Leaving the relationship.

Traveling.

Making art.

Getting healthy.

Starting the YouTube channel.

Calling someone you’ve been avoiding.

Or maybe it’s something incredibly simple.

Maybe you just want to wake up every morning and feel like you’re actually excited to be alive.

That’s a dream too.

And here’s the beautiful part:

You don’t have to make the entire dream happen today.

You just have to take one step toward it.

Then another.

Then another.

And eventually you look back and realize:

“Holy 💩 … I’m living it.”

Maybe This Is What “Success” Really Means

For a long time, we were taught that success meant accumulating more.

More money.

More followers.

More accomplishments.

More recognition.

More stuff.

But what if success is actually something much simpler?

What if success is:

Waking up and liking your life.

Having people around you who you genuinely love.

Doing work that feels meaningful.

Taking care of your body.

Having time to breathe.

Laughing until your stomach hurts.

Drinking coffee with your favorite person.

Watching the sunset.

Feeling connected to yourself.

And knowing that the life you’re living actually belongs to you.

Maybe that’s the real manifestation.

Not becoming someone else.

Becoming more fully yourself.

Come Hang Out With Us

That’s ultimately why we created Coffee, Consciousness & Conversations.

We don’t want this to feel like another podcast where someone sits behind a microphone and pretends they’ve figured out life.

Because we haven’t.

We’re figuring it out too.

We’re asking questions.

We’re experimenting.

We’re laughing at ourselves.

We’re talking about consciousness, relationships, health, spirituality, money, manifestation, purpose, success, failure and everything in between.

Sometimes profound.

Sometimes ridiculous.

Sometimes both within the same five minutes.

Because maybe the future of conscious living doesn’t have to feel so serious.

Maybe creating a better world can begin with two people sitting at a table having an honest conversation.

And maybe… you don’t have to escape your life to create heaven on Earth.

Maybe you start creating it right where you are.

One choice.

One conversation.

One courageous step.

One cup of coffee at a time.

So come hang out with us.

The coffee’s getting cold.

And the conversation is just getting started. ☕
