You know that scene in the movie when the main character finally gets their act together?
This usually happens right after a big ah-ha moment that leads them to some sort of breakthrough. Finally, they feel ready to move on and go after what they really want and nothing can get in their way.
These scenes represent a very common human experience called the breakthrough moment! A lightbulb goes off and we finally see a deeper truth that we couldn't just moments before. What we can say is before the breakthrough we were believing a lie that skewed our perspective.
Once we see through the lie, it brings clarity and momentum and we can’t help but move forward toward improvement.
Cue uplifting music playing in the background as we see the main character cleaning up their place, taking care of business, and (if it’s a romantic comedy) there will surely be a shopping montage lol.
The lie they were telling themselves is no longer running the show and they are off towards more joy and success.
A lot of people today are going through a similar breakthrough experience and don't realize it.
We don’t tend to notice how often we repeat our favorite lies such as I’m too old, I'm too big, I'm too small, I'm too young, I'm not smart enough, I don’t have the skills, I don’t have enough money, I don't have enough time, I have bad genetics, etc., and the list goes on.
Like the movie character, our breakthrough is patiently waiting for us to see through the lie so we can get to the fun part when the uplifting music starts playing.
Until we see the deeper truth behind the lies, we are stuck in the illusion and we can't seem to move forward no matter what we do. The truth really does set us free.
It's always now!
Let's look at this particular lie... "It's too late."
But how can it be too late, when it's always now?
One way to see time is like a by-product of our constantly shifting awareness. In other words, what we pay attention to changes our experience of time.
Have you ever had a great conversation with a friend where hours passed on the clock, but to you it only felt like a few minutes?
Or what about waiting in traffic and each minute feels like an hour? Especially when you're running late!
Our experiences change as our thoughts change. We enjoy the conversation so time seems to fly by, but you don't enjoy the traffic, so it seems to take forever.
In the Special Theory of Relativity, Albert Einstein determined that time is relative. In other words, the rate at which time passes depends on your frame of reference. So time is not changing, we are. This is how life works at the fundamental level.
Time is always now, but if we believe it's too late, or that we don't have enough time, then that will become our experience.
Our thoughts become our perspective. Our perspective becomes our beliefs. Our beliefs become our experiences. As soon as we decide to change our thoughts life changes accordingly.
When we see through the lie of "time scarcity" we also eliminate the need to chase anything, because we realize it's already here and now. What a relief!
In our opinion and experience, this is the key to a life filled with happiness and health. It's also the key to manifesting your unique dreams.
We are powerful beings so start to notice what you are giving your power to. Notice some of the lies you might have on repeat, it can be very subtle so you may even want to meditate on this.
As soon as you notice a lie it begins to lose its power and this is when the magic happens!
Mira's Story
We want to share this most recent testimonial from a Manifest Your Dreams Master Course member who's totally embodied this teaching and ran with it!
Her name is Mira and she is turning 62 years young! We feel she is a perfect example of how there’s no such thing as “it’s too late”.
Once Mira started practicing our principles everything start to click in the most beautiful ways. Since taking our course she has manifested so many dreams that she seems to update us every few months with more good news.
So far Mira has lost 20lbs, graduated from her course at Oxford in the UK, found a new and more fulfilling job, and feels more excited about her life because she knows that all is available to her right now!
It’s powerful to hear directly from people about their own success as success is contagious. So here’s what Mira had to say just a few weeks ago:
“Hi, Wendy and Dan,
Let me firstly say "you're the gift that just keeps giving".
I'm so proud of you both and the impact you're making around the world. The thing that makes you unique is your authenticity. You're real people, living real lives, and your love for your fellow human beings is clear for all to see.
People's lives are changing, because you stepped out and shared your hopes and dreams and created a blueprint by helping us to manifest our dreams and get the best out of our lives.
Every day I start my day (at 6 am) by thanking God for allowing me to enjoy another day. I then pray, meditate and read scriptures before going out to walk for 90 minutes. This is a direct result of using the tools you give in the course. Truly life-changing.
I can honestly say I know who I am, and I love who I'm becoming with each new day and experience. Living life with no apologies or regrets is liberating.
Next month I will celebrate 62yrs. Thanks for showing me how to appreciate life and utilize the gift you've shared.
I can see the radiance and love emanating from you both. I'm looking forward to the next season of growth and excited to see what you've got planned for your tribe!
I love you, Wendy and Dan, and I'm excited for your future.
Oh, by the way, I'd love to see more videos of The Hennessey’s cooking. You both put so much passion in everything you do. I love it.“
- Mira
When we asked Mira if we could share this personal email along with a photo of her, she wrote back saying:
“Absolutely YES, you have my permission to use the content including my photo. I want others to experience what I experience each day.”
That says it all! Thank you again, Mira, and happy 62nd birthday!
This is just one of many examples of people who are manifesting their dreams. Just look around and you will find stories everywhere of people changing their lives at ages 40, 50, and 60 plus. We even have had a client in his 70s who said he now feels 25 years younger!
It really is never too late, and when you begin thriving you'll want others to thrive along with you. That's why we do what we do. Well-being is infectious and we hope you catch the bug!
We are honored to be here walking alongside you on your wellness journey and we'll talk soon!
With love and compassion,
Wendy + Dan
